A: Claus for a Cause is a Community Service project of Wigs Off for Cancer that takes place in early December.
Q: How does this benefit Wigs Off for Cancer?
A: Claus for a Cause is a Community Service project that intends to engage with the public to inform and educate about
our programs and what we do fulfill our mission or helping those who are battling cancer.
Q: Is this for Wigs Off to make money?
A: This is not a major fundraising event for Wigs Off. Although we offer personalized gifts for people to purchase, that is not
why we do this event. Funds from the personalized items are used to cover event costs. We sometimes have retail items
for sale which directly fund Wigs Off for Cancer.
Q: Do the pictures cost anything?
A: NO! Photos taken at Claus for a Cause are done at no charge. After the event photos are edited they are emailed to the
email address provided at the event.
Q: Can I get prints of my photo done wherever I want?
A: YES! All you need is THIS release along with a Statement of Release. This Statement of Release allows you to make
reproductions of the photos freely for PERSONAL USE.
Q: What does Wigs Off for Cancer do with the photos
A: Wigs Off for Cancer goes to great strides to protect you and your family's privacy. As such, we have developed the
following photo retention and destruction policy. In order to protect the privacy of the participants of Claus for a Cause:
Wigs Off for Cancer will;
A) save all photos on their secure server where only designated employees will have access.
B) only distribute photos to the email address provided on the form collected at the event.
C) will maintain photos and keep available to said participant for redistribution and for merchandise purchase until
the last day of February of the following year.
D) delete/remove/destroy all copies, unless otherwise released, of participant photos on or about March 1st of the
following year. This is including, but not limited to; edited and unedited copies of said photos, any sent and/or
received emails containing said photos, any other copies that may exist not covered previously.

A: Items ordered at the time of the event will be available for pickup approximately one week after the event at the host
location. Arrangements will be made for those items ordered after the day of the event. Items are available for
shipping.
